This has been my childrens favorite car for over the last eight years. As they are growing up, we do not use it as much. This little buggy with the huge smiley face and gets plenty of attention every it goes. The car is built on a 1965 VW pan. The body was built by Kellison, a company known for making a wide variety of kit cars. The model is a rare Sandpiper XP1. The engine is a dual port 1600 with a single Holley carburetor. The tires are Mickey Thompsons Bias race compound with about 100 miles on them. 15 inch in the rear and 14 inch in the front, both are 50 series. It has a Blaupunkt Stereo, Sacramento series. The dash is brushed aluminum with performance gauges.
