I'm selling my silver on gray 2001 740i M-Sport (Shorty Sporty) with 112,500 miles. Need to make room for its big brother :) Some things to note about the vehicle - it has the 16:9 navigation screen, MK-III. This was added as standard in the late 2001 model year. The side skirts and rear bumper are painted body color, introduced only in the 2001 model year. It has scalloped headlamps and clear turn indicators, another feature only in the 2001 model year. It also has heated front AND rear seats to keep you cozy in the winter, and a ski/snowboard passthrough from the trunk into the cabin, with a bag to keep the moisture out. Now on to what makes this car special - the M Sport package. The car has the coveted sport package. It has the high stall speed torque converter, lower ratio differential, sport shocks, shadowline trim, 3 spoke M sport steering wheel, manual and sport modes on the transmission and staggered 18 inch M Par rims. Car has the 4.4L V8, 22.5 USGal Fuel Tank (Premium Only), and a 5 speed automatic transmission. Car has full maintenance history going back do its dealer serviced days, and has been well cared for its entire life. Just put new Pirelli P-Zero Neros on it - they ride and handle like a dream. The kicker on this car - I just got the transmission rebuilt. This is a service that scares most people out of owning a 7 series, and I've taken care of it for you. The transmission has a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty on it. If you have an issue you will never see a bill, no deductible. I've had the cooling system replaced / upgraded, timing chain tensioner replaced, valve cover gaskets done, differential serviced, all pixel displays replaced (no dead pixels on the cluster), all front suspension bushings replaced (45-60mph shimmy gone), front upper and lower control arms replaced, power steering hoses replaced and the battery has been replaced. I also have the windows tinted, but we can talk about that over email or in person. The car does come with the DICE iPod integration system, with the ashtray replaced with an iPod dock. I've had all the major service done to the car, it is good to run for another 100,000 miles. It runs like an ox, and in the right conditions can do 0-60 in under 6 seconds (or so I'm told ;)). The only reason I am selling this car is because I need room in carport for some new blood. Car comes with 2 master keys, a spare key, manual, maintenance history log book, full size spare with new Pilot Sport tire.
