1990 chevrolet caprice 5.0 305 v8 car runs drives shifts and blows ice cold air ..... ENGINE HAS AN ISSUE THE OIL LIGHT IS FLASHING ON AT IDLE ....... i am currently still driving the car short trips but eventually it will need some kind of work i have heard everything from the screen being clogged to just putting in an oil pump if i was to keep the car i would drop the pan do the bearings oil pump and put a new gasket on without taking the pan down i have not a clue the only thing i can tell you is it needs something ....THIS IS ONE COOL RIDE EVERYONE ASKS ME ABOUT IT .... FAMILY TRUCKSTER BRADY BUNCH WHATEVER MAYBE YOU HAD BEEN IN THE BACK SEAT OF ONE OF THESE IN THE REAR FACING KIDDIE SEATS HELL MAYBE MOM AND DAD DID THE DEED IN THE BACK SEAT OF ONE OF THESE AND MADE YOUR LIFE POSSIBLE WHO KNOWS .... WHATEVER THE CASE I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT WAS ONE COOL RIDE ...... CAR IS REAR WHEEL DRIVE AUTO TRANS AND LOADED ..... MAYBE YOU GET LUCKY AND INSTALL A $40 OIL PUMP AND DRIVE IT FOR ANOTHER 20 YEARS OR WORSE CASE SCENERIO A CRANK BEARING KIT ITS CURRENTLY NOT RAPPING BUT I WOULDNT TAKE IT ON A LONG TRIP ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE ITS A CATOSTROPHIC FAILURE BE SAD TO GRENADE THE ENGINE BECAUSE OF AN ISSUE YOU CAN FIX ..... SO I AM GOING TO SAY IT ONE MORE TIME ......... ENGINE HAS AN ISSUE THE OIL LIGHT IS FLASHING ON AT IDLE.... its not on when you drive the cars not knocking yet but i know for sure there is something going on ......paints not perfect the underside is very solid there is a rusty spot on the bottom of one fender on the bottom inch or 2 of it... everything works except the drivers windows including the ice cold r12 air ... im selling this car as a running vehicle that needs some kind of engine work ....... i would recomend a trailer tow dolly or a flat bed unless your very close to new haven ct .....my reserve price is a steal and i hope this car gets a good home i had some serious dreams if it doesnt meet my reasonable reserve i am going to repair it over the winter thanks for looking happy bidding email me with any questions i want a smooth sale ........ fyi if your questions are stupid prepare to get a answer with some sort of sarcasm or humor....... good day......
