1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet, guards red exterior/black leather interior, was purchased new at a St. Louis Porsche Dealer (see original Window Sticker & Dealer Addendum MSRP $40,378), sold to an internet broker in June 2007, from whom I purchased the car in July 2007. Optional Equipment per Certificate of Authenticity is Blaupunket Monterey radio, forged alloy wheels ($2,580), sport seats, cruise control & fog lights. Other than upgrades of a new clutch & Continental tires, the car is just as it left the Porsche Factory with original paint. Porsche car cover, original tools, tire compressor, manuals & steering wheel are included. This was the last year of the 911 SC performance model & the FIRST PORSCHE 911 CONVERTIBLE!!!On Oct-04-13 at 16:28:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Car purchased from Plaza Motors, St. Louis, on 9/27/83 by original owner. He sold it to West County Wholesale, O'Fallon, on 5/25/2007. I purchased it on 7/26/2007, at 27,750 miles. A call to the original owner confirmed mileage, plus he said the car had only been in the rain once, had new front brakes & A/C compressor, had the right front fender touched up due to a scratch from a bicycle in his garage. NO collisions then or since.
