1970 Ford Mustang Fastback Up for sale is a 1970 Mustang Fastback. I bought the car as a project, and I just don't have the time for it that it needs anymore. The car does run and move under its own power; however, it does need a tune up. Its powered by a 302-2V which matches the VIN and has an automatic C-4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission. This car was special ordered from the factory with power steering and an AM radio. It rolled off the assembly line on June 16, 1970; three days ahead of schedule. The VIN is 0F02F200415 which breaks down as: 0- 1970 F- Built in Dearborn 02- Sportsroof F- 302-2V Engine. Here is a list of parts that have been added to the car: -New exhaust -New brake drums, springs, and pads all around -New radiator -New fuel tank -New fuel line (from tank to the front) -New starter -New transmission lines -New trunk lid -New thermostat -New distributor cap and points -New spark plugs and wires -New dynacorn floorpan (installed by previous owner)and various other small things Problems: Engine: The car does run and move under its own power but it definitely needs a tune up. The gear shifter in the floor is a little sloppy; it works but it might need a replacement Steering: I have drove this car down the road but its definitely not a daily driver. The steering will need to be checked out. Rust: Being an old car, it does have rust. I have yet to really dig into this problem so I'm not certain of how bad it is. The body does have a few spots that will need addressing as well as spots in the front and rear of the car which may require some fabrication. Interior: The interior needs some restoration such as the floor and patches in the seats. The pictures tell the story. Payment and Shipping:$300 is required as the initial deposit and the rest is to be paid in cash or cashiers check before the car is picked up. The car is sold as is where is with the buyer responsible for shipping arrangements of the car. This car does come with a few extra original parts, that can be viewed in the picture, such as: chrome trim for the rear window and front windshield, driver side adjustable mirror, retractable seatbelts and other seatbelt parts, trim for the bottom of the door, sport lamps for the front grill, chrome headlight trim, and rearview mirror. The car also comes with a Deluxe Marti Report. I have not worked on the interior; just the mechanics of the car.
