Vehicle Detail

This is a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 351 Fastback. It was purchased by my father from someone in our area a few years back. We had the intent to restore it, but because of money and time we have not been able to and so we are selling it. It has rust damage and the driver front fender was bent in while moving it. The interior is in pretty good shape but will still need some work. The lock on the trunk and ignition have both been drilled to allow access and steering. This car does not run. The seller before us told us that the engine in the car is a 302. We bought an engine from a guy and took it apart to find that the block was a cobra jet short block, crank shaft, and rod. we have a few replacement body parts that are in good condition that come with it. Those parts are featured in the pictures. The numbers on the dash and door are matching but sadly the drivers door will not stay sealed tight and the numbers and info washed off since in 1970 they used mylar data plates and not metal. The Cobra Jet engine is dissassembled, but we still have all the components. It spins so, so, so smoothly when fully assembled and comes with Cleveland 2-barrel heade and a Cleveland 4 barrel- intake. Virtually no rust in the block and very little on outside.PICK UP ONLY If you have any questions message me or email me at s3rvnt@gmail.comOn Oct-05-13 at 19:05:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The extra engine I bought is a 1972 351 Cleveland cobra jet engine. Some one had taken the CJ heads off and put 2V heads on it. The matched the 2V heads with the correct 4V aluminum intake and an edelbrock carb. I took the motor apart and it was in great condition. The cylinder walls looked great with no ridge at the top at all and it is standard bore. The crankshaft was not worn. It did have 1 piston with a crack on the skirt. I bought this engine to put in the car while we were looking for the correct engine for the mustang. The extra body parts are original FOMCO parts. The car is an excellent car to restore. You will like it better than your money.
