1997 Range Rover HSE 4.6 4WDI have for sale my beautiful 1997 Range Rover HSE Sport. This is the top of the line model and came with every feature. About 3k miles ago the headgasket started to go so I decided to have the shop to a full top end rebuild. The heads were removed and resurfaced and conditioned, valves were replaced and the head was lapped to fit the new valves perfectly. They Replaced the valves, valve springs, retainers, valve guides, headgaskets, head studs, intake manifold gasket, exhaust header gasket, valve cover gasket, and spark plugs. They also took a look at the bottom end and confirmed everything to be in good condition. The car does have 4wd however I removed the front drive shaft so that I would get much better mpg, I will include the front driveshaft which is very easy to put back in. I also recently flushed all fluids and replaced the windshield wipers. The car runs flawless however I have noticed when it sits for awhile there will be a couple drops of oil on the ground. Other than that mechanically the car is great, shifts good and everything. The interior is in okay condition, there is a small rip on the driver seat and on the passenger side arm rest the leather is cracking and ripped. The headliner sags a little bit in small spots. The radio in car worked but I had an aftermarket one in there and I took it out and put the factory one in there so you will need the correct adapter to run the stock radio(might as well just buy a nice aftermarket one). Other than that I can't really think of any problems. I just don't drive the car anymore so I'm giving someone a hell of a deal. KBB on this car is $6,500!
