Vehicle Detail

Numbered car 216 Special Edition with low miles. Purchased from original owner. Garage Kept. The pictures speak for themselves. Two minor scratches. The sleek styling of the exterior combined with the elegant interior with its soft leather seats and computerized status readout make this a unique automobile. The air-ride suspension makes you feel like you’re floating at times. At other times the sports tuned suspension lets you corner like the car was painted on the road. The body styling and chrome wheels absolutely turn heads and gate guards will think twice before questioning your right to enter. With the best possible combination of features offering Lincoln class and comfort combined with Ford’s powerhouse InTech 32-valve engine when you drive this Mark VIII you do truly own the road. At 290 horsepower and 295 feet pounds of torque, the Mark VIII’s 4.6-liter overhead-cam V-8 provides tons of smooth, seamless power. With its high-performance exhaust note adding an element of nostalgia, this hot-rod Lincoln can't decide whether to cruise the country club or show off at the drag strip. It's fast and it's responsive, thanks to the sports suspension that irons out the rough spots while keeping this cruiser remarkably level on curves, thanks to computer-adjusted air springs. All under the powered moon roof, the interior is lush without being too plush. Supportive leather seats are set in a wide, roomy cabin, all nicely appointed, with an uncluttered dashboard holding gauges and controls that are simple and straightforward. The wide doors make it easy to get in and out of the front and rear seats. The trunk is enormous. As you’d expect, the Mark VIII comes loaded to the gills with features, some of which are pretty unusual: *Outside mirrors that tilt down when you back up and with built-in turn signals to warn nearby drivers of lane changes.*When the doors are unlocked by remote control, the mirrors illuminate the sides of the car and the ground with what Lincoln called ''puddle lamps.''*Neon lighting on the rear deck. The Mark VIII has a neon tube brake light mounted beneath the 48- inch-wide, deck lid. Makes the car stand out at night.*High-intensity-discharge (HID), low-beam headlamps that produce 2.7 times more light than halogen lamps while using much less power. On high beams, they could double as airplane landing lights.*A computer system that, with the touch of a button, analyzes major mechanical systems, computes gas mileage, checks the oil, displays the date and time, and tells you which way you're going.*A steering wheel and front seats that glide out of the way for entry and exit, then powers back into their programmed place when the ignition key is inserted. *An absolutely amazing stereo sound system with an eight-speaker, Ford/JBL AM/FM stereo radio with compact disc.*It comes with two original Owner’s Guide, Quick Tips Manual, The Benefits of Owning a Lincoln booklet, and various other papers associated with the car.*The original sticker price was $41,065.The rest of the goodies:Bucket Seats Tachometer Center Console Trip ComputerPower Heated Mirrors Chrome Wheels Keyless Entry System Traction ControlLighted Entry System 4-Wheel ABSPower Antenna Tinted GlassPower Brakes Anti-Theft Alarm SystemRear Window Defroster Leather SeatsDriver Front Airbag Passenger Front Airbag16-Inch Wheels Power Steering4.6L V8 DOHC 32V FI Engine Remote Trunk releasePower Driver and Passenger Seats w/Memory Power Moon roofPower Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel Air Conditioning4-Speed Automatic Transmission w/OD Leather steering Wheel Trim Self Leveling Suspension Power Door LocksAutomatic Climate Control System Power WindowsAutomatic On/Off Headlights JBL AudioAuto-Dim Exterior Mirror(s) AM/FM/CD Audio SystemAuto-Dim Rear View Mirror Cruise ControlExterior InteriorWidth: 74.8 in. It still can but at a fraction of the price. Here’s your chance to drive a gorgeous high performance sports coupe with the prestige of a Lincoln.
