THE MECHANIC SAID IT IS RUNNING VERY QUIETLY. He ran it for 1 1/2 hours and the engine temp was normal, no overheating. He took it for a test drive and although he didn't want to push the car because it hadn't been driven for awhile and because it wasn't his car he didn't push it, but he said you can feel it wants to kick into turbo. Now that the car is running the following functions are in working condition: Headlamps work, cruise works, transmission shifts normal, turbo kicks in, oil pressure gauge works, tems suspension works, TAC works, speedometer works, clock works, electric mirrors work, lumbar drivers seat works, radio works and acoustic equalizer works, power antenna works, security system works. Below is the original listing: I am the original owner of this vehicle, it has always been garage kept. It was purchased on March 29, 1988 at Ted McWilliams Toyota, Inc., 3499 William Penn Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. I have all of the original paperwork, including the window sticker, and an original brochure from the factory showroom display. At 102,713 miles, in September 2005, I had the engine replaced with a remanufactured ATK engine at Baierl Toyota, 19045 Perry Highway, Mars, PA 16046, The mileage now is 104,053. The car was last driven in the spring of 2006. At that time a rear heater hose burst, expelling anti-freeze and that was the last time the car was driven. It has been parked and covered in the garage since then. When the engine was replaced, the total cost including parts, and labor came to $6107.36, I still have the original bill of sale and receipt for payment, at that time I made the decision that I was not going to put anymore money into the car. In October of 1998, the car was involved in a minor accident, the front bumper assembly, left and right fenders were replaced along with all necessary parts. Vehicle sustained no mechanical damage. All work was done at Andretti's Airport Toyota, 800 Narrows Run Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108 The vehicle has not been started since spring of 2006, the battery is dead and the heater hose was never replaced. The last time it was driven the A/C and heater didn't seem to work. There are some stone chips in the front bumper and hood, the original factory clear coat is pealing around the drivers door handle and underneath the molding right below the same handle. There is a small tear/slice on the center console armrest, the map holder behind the drivers seat is stretched out, I've tried to show all of this in the pictures. There are many good features to this 25 year old vehicle, like: interior is in excellent condition, the body is in extremely good to excellent condition, it still has the original spare tire and tire jack, in original Toyota bag. Also includes original tool kit for Targa roof, and 4 plastic caps. All original paperwork, owners manual and all repair invoices are available. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
