Up for auction is one nice 1973 Monte Carlo with New Big block 454 Engine The family has decided to sale there pride and joy. The builder, who was the second owner of this nice car has passed. He owned this car for over 31 years, and now the wife would like to see this car go to a new family. The car was finished in 2006 after a three year build. It's running a built 454 with only 1000 miles on it, and the 400 turbo transmission. The engine starts easy, and runs strong. It has an Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, Mallery distributor, Hooker headers , with 3' Flowmaster exhaust. Under the hood is a nicely detailed engine compartment, with painted inner fender panels, custom valve covers, and air cleaner. (Look's very nice.) The body is striate, and has had some custom work done. A spoiler has been added to the deck lid, and a one of a kind hood, covers the engine. The paint looks great but dose have a few very small scratchs. (Hard to see in the pictures.) The hood has several cracks, and some paint is lifting. (Needs re done or replaced.) The black vinal top looks very nice with the car's candy red paint, and the trunk has all new carpeting. The car has power steering, power brakes, power windows, swivel bucket seets, and air, but the air needs charged. (Dose not blow cold.) The interior is done in custon diamond pleated cloth inserts, with vinal trim, and new carpeting through out. It's running BF Goodrich tires on custom rims. The owner took out the heater core, because he did not drive the car in the winter, so no heater. This little Monte Carlo looks good going down the road, and turns heads when it drives buy.
