Garage Find! All pieces of the car are there. The fender skirt is not missing, it was just not on the car when the pics were taken. This is an older restoration. The engine spins, but does not turn over. I believe with some work the engine will start. The car seems to be all original including original 6V system. Flathead 6 Rumble seat opens and closes easily. The odometer reads 20734, but I do not think that is original mileage. There is some surface rust, but the car is solid. There is a paper with the car that states "Only 1938 Coupes were produced with Rumble Seats were produced during this last year for such a model. This is the only known surviving Rumble Seat Coupe in the U.S. and one of two remaining in the world". This paper is not certified in any way and I do not know if the statement is accurate as I am not a DeSoto expert. An Original Find!
