The Prowler first produced in 1997 came with a 3.5L Chrysler SOHC V6 24v

engine that produced 214hp. As the car instantly became popular, the one main complaint was that it was underpowered. Well with no production of Prowlers in 1998, 1999's were now being made with a more powerful engine. The engine block was now Aluminum and had 253hp at 6400 rpm.

One main feature of a Prowler is the fact that the transmission is at the rear of the car, joined by a flexible drive shaft that spins at engine speed. This design is also shared by C5 Corvettes, Porsche 944, and Alfa Romeo 75...which if your a car nut you know they all have a close to 50:50 weight distribution. Well this Prowler, Finished in Prowler Yellow Clear Coat, was one of 1576 that were produced. This was the second best selling color next to black and beat red by 3 cars. The paint is flawless and still has that showroom finish no fading at all. The front nose at the very bottom has slight scratch on it. The engine and transmission are also flawless, and all electricals and gauges work as they should.

The interior has hardly any ware on it. The leather seats are clean and been treated and conditioned. The top works flawlessly, and no hangups easy one person operation. We don't believe its even seen a drop of rain all components are clean and functional.

The tires are still 90% and do not show any issues on side walls, that we have noticed. All the glass is free of any issues

If you should have any concerns on this car please let us know, if we have no immediate answers we will get them for you. This is a collector quality Prowler, can be stored and shown or driven daily. We have decided for the former.
