Ive run out of room and time to spend with this little gem. All of the hard work has been done. A new 1600cc was installed last year, and has maybe 2000 miles on it. The odometer shows 10K, which I will boldly assume is 110,000. Brakes completely redone, new tires, Porsche wheels, 12 volt upgrade, nice original green and white striped cloth interior, nice rust free frame and undercarriage. There is some surface rust from years of use, but body is solid, and in great shape. Ready to be sanded and painted. It's a great running car, and can certainly be used as-is if you like the patina look. Car was sold new at a VW dealer in Prescott AZ. This is an early 64 model, as it still has small front turn signals and a pope's nose on the rear hood. Glass is in great shape - No rust where you normally find it in the spare tire well - Car seems to have spent all it's life in the Southwest, before it arrived in Texas Things that you will need to do:1. Paint2. Very minor body work - the right rear fender has a little damage3. Headliner4. Rubber window and door seals - Needs to be replaced when you paint the car Not much else to say - What you see is what you get. Car has clear Texas title. Email me with any questions.
