Up for auction here is one of my favorite bikes- my 2007 Honda XR 650L. This bike has had a long list of bolt on modifications that makes it far more than your average XR 650. I started off with a mint 2007 XR 650 with just over 1000 miles, and spent over $4,000 making it into my dream XR. This bike has never seen dirt, I bought it off a friend who bought it brand new in 2007 and barely rode it. I have installed a full $2500 supermoto kit from Motostrano.com in California. This includes Warp 9 wheels with Billet CR 450 Red anodized hubs and black sprockets. Brand new $500 Michelin Pilot Power tires, these still have the nipples on them from the conversion. Full ($750) Seat/Tank/Fairing kit from ALoop Off-road in Colorado, this is a huge improvement over the stock seat and metal tank. Slip on Vance and Hines XCR exhaust ($350) which sounds great and opens up the bike a lot. JD Jet Kit ($250 installed). Also installed a new Acerbis Supermoto front fender. This bike runs smooth and powerful and really outperforms a stock XR 650L in every way- I wanted to build this bike up to look and perform similarly to the "R" version of the XR 650 while still being fully street legal in 50 states, have electric start, and most importantly the reliablility from the air cooled XR 650. There are plenty of riders putting over 50,000 miles on a stock XR 650 L motor without rebuilding or even doing a top end. This bike is a ton of fun to ride and will be able to do a great variety of things- from blasting around town, to keeping up with sportbikes in the twisties, and also mounting bags and doing some serious adventure rides. This bike has barely been broken in and just received it's second service when I did all of the bolt-ons. All work on this bike has been done professionally with only the best parts used. This bike has been garaged its whole life and receives more love and attention than most peoples GSXR, CBR, etc. I am starting the auction VERY LOW with NO RESERVE so BID TO WIN!
