Vehicle Detail
As much as I hate to do it, due to health and advancing age I have decided to sell my Duetto. If you are a purist this car is not for you. If you are looking for a trailer queen stop now. If however you are looking for an Alfa you can drive anytime, anywhere, proceed Exterior appearance is EXCELLENT I installed the air dam cause I didn’t like seeing the sump guard. There are 5 Momo wheels Tires are Dunlop Sport 195/70-14 The new Haartz canvas top was installed in 2011. All the chrome pieces were done also in 2011. ie (door handles, rear deck straps and the windshield squirts. I even had the backup light chromed There is also a hardtop available for additional cost but only to the buyer of the car. 12” pusher electric fan thermostatically controlled to come on at 175 degrees Ignition is via MarelliPlex 200 distributor and coil setup. Engine starts on the first turn of the key, hot or cold The 2L engine is stock with the exception of the cams which are Euro 10548’s set a 102 degrees. Incidently the engine compartment is filty and needs a good cleaning. The trans is a close ratio Alfa gearbox with rations 2:54/1:70/1:26/ 1:0/0.79. It shifts as smooth as butter The rear mount was replaced in 2010 as well as the drive shaft U joints and center support. The rear is a LSD 4:11 ratio. No noises or rumbles. A rear sway bar was installed Brakes front and rear are ATE with the addtion of a vaccum brake booster All front suspension bushings and joints were replaced in 2010 along with tie rod ends Shocks are Koni Reds The battery is mounted in the trunk The original interior seats have been replaced with a recaro type, actually made by a fellow called Paddy Hopkirk, very comfortable and mounted low enough so that I as a 6 footer have to move the seat forward slightly to depress the pedals properly, The dash panel was painted years ago and works well with the black gauge mounts. The oil pressure gauge was replaced with a analog clock. The tach was replaced with one from a Gtv which has a oil pressue and low oil warning lite in it The dash pad is original and has a short crack from one of the vents. The radio is a Grundig with separte amp and equalizer feeding 4 speakers. The power antenna is amplified Hirshman 6900 I am going to post only a few pictures here but will gladly send additional to interested indivduals Buyer to arrange shipping or pickup Lee Hjelsand Duetto1@aol.com E mail me and I can give you my phone # or if you send me your name and phone I will be happy to call you
