Hello diesel family and friends, my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used DieselTruck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. We have recently downsized to a small mom and pop operation here in carlisle PA (E-Motors) to sell 2 or 3 trucks a month, we are small and I do this more for a hobby than anything else.(low overhead low prices) I know these old cummins diesel trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California, Texas and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old powerstrokes. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. A few things to know before bidding or becomming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to what I'm asking maybe we can deal a little bit. I have this Texas owned 97 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x4 with the cummins 12 valve 5 speed for sale. If you guys have been watching my ads I sell mint 12 valves on ebay I have sold 15 of them in the past year for 14 grand and up, this is what I start with a mint rust free frame and body I paint and detail them and get 15 grand for them,,,here is your chance to buy one for what I pay without going to Texas, I have so many irons in the fire I'm willing to sacrifice one to any smart buyer if there is any out there.. This is one you can cherry out or drive as it is, needs nothing major mechanically, the 12 valve fires right up, no smoke, no alterations all bone stock, trans shifts good with recent overhaul. Tight front end, good rubber. The frame is like brand new, body straight and all original paint scorched and weathered by the hot texas sun, dinged here and there, no rust though. In my opinion I thing the weathering and patina is georgous I'd just clear coat over it for the old look. Please no calls on whats your bottom line or whats it going to take, I own it for 8800.00 that's the bottom line, but alaways open to serious offers OVER 8 grand!!! Not many 12 valves left in the world rust free under 10 grand with 5 speed anymore get in while the getting is good.., could use a good day of service oil change valve adjustment stuff of this nature that I normally do before selling my mint rams but I want a low price 12v.
