Vehicle Detail
Please find my wife's MKT up for auction. I bought this car for her about a year ago after an exhaustive search, as we wanted an ecoboost model in exceptional condition, but with bucket rear seats and NO rear center counsel, I found that it was a rare bird; one dealer told me that less than 5% of MKT's came with the captain's chairs but no counsel. Not having the center counsel makes the third row far more accessible and easy to use. Aside from that option, I believe this car has all others available. The condition of the car is excellent, it has never been smoked in, has no stone chips, no dents/dings, the wheels have very little scuffing or curb damage, no body damage ever, no paint work, etc. The only blemish you'll find is the light scratch on the driver's side passenger door, which you'll see in the photos. We take phenomenal care of our vehicles, I am a car enthusiast, and am adamant about preventive maintenance. On my older cars a lot is needed, on this car, not as much. I just had it at the dealer last week, they found nothing of need to be replaced. To prep it for sale, I just had new tires installed (they literally have 6 miles on them) and had the oil/filter changed. The car is still under warranty until 50,000 miles or summer 2014, but as it sits now it needs nothing. If you run a carfax you'll find that I'm the second owner, and that the previous owner, like me, was diligent about the maintenance. I purchased the car from a BMW dealer in Atlanta, it had been a trade in, and at the time had about 21,000 on it. We've put on about 11,000 miles since, all of those miles have been enjoyable and trouble free, this is a great car for every day or long hauls. It has good space, very good livability, comfort, ease of use, good gas mileage, etc. The only reason we are selling is to get a slightly larger SUV, if it were up to me we'd keep it, but it's her car, and she wants a full size SUV...so off it goes!
