Vehicle Detail

This neat looking bike is because of all the nice details just a pleasure to look at and is still in the same brittle appearance as like it was found back in the 1970's, Since then it has been in a collection of antique motorcycles, where good care has been taken to keep it in the condition as found. I haven't attempted to start it but the engine turns smoothly, has good compression and was running ok when it has been put in storage back in 1989. Like common in those days, motorcycle-manufacturers acquired their engines from other suppliers where this machine has a 175cc "Moussard" ML model engine fitted. The previous owner told me that he bought it back then as a military despatch model, for reason that it has the headlamp fitted and like typical for French despatch-bikes of that era, has no gearbox (thus could instantly being ridden after being pushed and was easy to handle/control). With the bike are two unused and hard to find "NEW MAP" tank decalls, as well as a unused rear fender and -headstock decall (all in mint condition and easy to put on). I have attached a number of typical old military despatch-bike images, only these photo's have as far as I know nothing to do with the bike as listed. There is no paperwork with the bike other than a official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium, an official European Certificate of Origin which states the make, displacement, vin & other specifications, plus I'll make sure that the bike comes with all the correct export-/import-paperwork and Bill of lading, which documents will make the process of importing it into your country an easy ride. -On this listing I'm offering a special (fully sealed) m'cycle crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a warehouse of the shipping-company as close as possible to you at my expense. Please note; In case the bike needs to be shipped to another destination than the US, please ask whether I can offer you such a deal as well before placing a bid. Furthermore, when you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, or want to recieve more information about this item, just let me know. -Additional information to this listing; The bike has after 84 years traces of use and is clearly showing its age (patina). I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. Like can be read in the link, this antique bike is because of its age and displacement exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss. The free shipping offer is only for US (North America) mainland destinations. When you live in another country and want to find out whether this offer would also be possible for you, please ask before bidding.
