1937 CADILLAC LASALLE For sale is a 1937 Cadillac LaSalle being offered from the private collection of Dennis Miller. It is a true 83,000 survivor. It still has it's numbers matching original drive train. The was originally owned by an investment banker in Chicago, IL. It was then purchased at an estate sale after the original owner passed away around 1977. The second owner had the car for almost 20 years. Dennis purchased the car in 1996. He is geting up in age and says it's time to sell her. He has installed a concours correct wiring harness and has driven the car sparingly. He has also purchased a set of Coker bias ply tires, replaced the brake hoses and hardware. With the 322 cu. in V8, the car runs and drives beautifully. The transmission is a manual 3 speed on the floor. The interior is all original and still in beautiful condition. The paint is also original and is slightly faded in spots. The glass, chrome and trim are of driver quality. The frame and undercarrrage is very solid with only a couple of very small rust areas. The body panels are laser straight and all metal. NADA has valued the car at $14,750 for Low Retail and $20,300 for average retail. I truly feel that for a vehicle of this orginality and condition, it should be valued at somewhere between the two. The Reserve is much lower than those numbers. This car can be driven as is for years and would still make a great investment when it comes to sell her. You can either leave this vehicle as is and enjoy and appreciate its originality or you can have it repainted, the bumpers re-finished and the weatherstripping replaced.
