This is being RELISTED due to a NON paying Bidder,,,PLEASE have your finances in order before bidding,,DO NOT BID if you dont have the cash to purchase this....Up for bids today is a VERY RARE, Mustang LX 5.0 Coupe, that was special ordered in 1985 with NO OPTIONS, these are referred to as "striped out coupes". Most dealers loaded up the 5.0L cars with options. this one was ordered New at Jim Angelo Ford, with NO Options.This is the LAST of the carburated cars that Ford made, very rare and fast. There are roll up windows, No A/C, No power locks, NO cruise NO tilt wheel,, it does have and AM/FM radio that works great. the interior is in excellent conditon, NO rips or tears in the seats. The Dash is NOT cracked at all the 1985 were prone to it from sun. also it has NO rear Defrost. The vehicle is equipped with the optional 3.08 rear end gear. These are getting very rare to find in original condition. These are going up in value and will be the next muscle cars you see featured on the Barret Jackson Auctions. Now alittle about the car. It has 36,000 original miles, it still has its GoodYear Eagle Gatorback tires on it that are in excellent condition. Car rides like a new car. The vehicle was repainted it's original color due to paint fade, this was done at the dealer when it was under warranty, i can honestly say its one of the better paint jobs i have seen,,No overspray and tape marks, they did an excellent job. The Motor and trans are all original, ,The vehicle has all its original Glass. All the gauges work as they should. The heat works as it should. Make No mistake this is a 1985 and it does have its share of dings dents and scratches, with that being said, it one of the cleanest i have ever seen. Here is a list of what i have replaced. i have kept what was taken off for the collector who wants all the parts.This vehicle will eventually be one of the sought after vehicles from the 80's..a true NO frills muscle car.. 1, New alluminum radiator, i have the original still in the box for the collectors that want it. 2, new cap and rotor, and wires,and plugs, again i retianed the original date coded wires. 3, heater core old was leading due to sitting so many years 4.New battery, i do not have the original 5, fresh Motorcraft filter and Mobil one synthetic oil 6. New positive and negative battery cables 7.
