Vehicle Detail
1972 Honda CB100 with 2282 original miles. This is a great little bike that I have rode every week for the last 3 months and have used about 2 gallons of gas. It sips fuel and is real fun to ride. Starts on second or third kick with a fully charged battery. These bikes are only 6 volts, so u need to keep the battery fully charged or you might have to bump start it, which is not a big deal since they are so light. The chrome is very good condition with minor flecking, paint is in good condition with scratches on the tank and side covers. There is a small dent on the right side of the tank in the black paint in front of the Honda logo. Not real noticeable since it's in the black portion, but it is there and u can feel it once you see it. Both side covers have cracks, but snap in with no problems. Tank has been sealed by the previous owner. Shifts fine, brakes fine, the neutral light, turn signals, and headlight do not work. Headlight bulb burned out a few weeks ago and I don't ride it at night, so I never replaced it. Front fender is bent and has a crease in the middle. The turns signals and Neutral light never worked when I got it, which never bothered me. Brake light works though, which was what is important to me. Carbs were cleaned, new spark plug, new oem Honda air filter. This is a fun bike to ride, which is why you purchase a bike. If you are looking for a museum piece to stare at, then you need to go buy a painting, this is not for you. But if you want a fun bike that you can take down to your neighborhood café this is it. Clear title in my name. If you want to come check it out, that is fine too. All Funds must clear before pick up. And all shipping costs are up to the buyer. I will assist in shipping the best that I can. I can keep it stored at my house for a couple weeks to give the buyer time to set up shipping. Email w/ any questions. On Jul-25-13 at 22:34:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that one of the steering stops has broken off, so when you turn to the right, you can really turn to the right a lot sharper, compared when turning to the left. This is kind of nice when maneuvering the bike in the garage also. On Jul-26-13 at 06:00:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention also, I have a box of miscellaneous things that came with the bike ie: headlamp shell, turn signals, looks like some pedals, I don't know if they are for the bike exactly, but they will be tossed in to the new owner. On Aug-01-13 at 04:45:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Also comes with the tool kit
