A true barn find. One of the missing, "Special" Bonneville's. 1979 Triumph T-140D 750 Bonneville "Special". 1 production year only and limited quantity. Numbers matching. Clear Kentucky title. 13k original miles shown and on title. Mostly original including paint. Bars have been changed at some point. Bike needs COMPLETE and TOTAL restoration. Selling as a complete project with loads of potential! I did install a new battery to see what works and the lights work, horn beeps and bike does have the original Lucas key for ignition. Bike DOES have great spark and DOES fire on starter fluid but not running. Brakes are not working, engine has lots of compression and shifts through the gears manually. Clutch feels strong. This is all I know. It is what it is. If you are wanting to restore a vintage Triumph, this would be the perfect candidate due to its rarity. Priced VERY fair. Call for any other questions.
