There were 3,000 limited edition 35th anniversary Super Sport Camaro's made in this last production year. Of the 3,000 produced, only 1,398 were convertibles. This example is also equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission making it a very desirable & rare modern collectible. With 3 meticulous owners, just over 30,000 miles have been logged on the odometer. The car was bought new in Kentucky and is currently garaged at the private owner's residence in Dallas, Texas. The exterior showcases the original red finish and special graphics & badging unique to the 35th anniversary SS cars. The paint is excellent. This is an un-modified original car ready to enjoy. The wheels of choice are the SS-specific 17-inch brushed aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR17 Sumito high performance radials. The interior features beautiful original two-tone leather seating with 35th anniversary stitching. The dash and instruments are in excellent condition. The 33,754 miles are original to the car and CARFAX verified. This car boasts 100% original paint, interior, and mechanicals throughout. The carpeting is protected by the original carpeted SS mats. Under the hood is the original LS-1 all-aluminum V8 factory rated at 325 horsepower. These numbers are said to be over-rated with many of these cars producing these numbers at the rear wheels. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed throughout, with original components. The transmission is the factory original 6-speed manual. The exhaust system is also original to the car.
