Up for sale is this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am. I purchased this in New Mexico. It is a one family car that maintains its original carb to oil pan, engine, transmission, rear end, sheet metal, glass, and interior. The VIN is on the dash (2 Pontiac)-(W Trans Am)-(87 Coupe)-(Z 400ci)-(6 1976)-(N Ohio Factory)-525140 Production Number), Buck Tag is on the driverside rear apron, Original Emission Sticker is on the radiator tank support frame, Original Door Data Sticker is on the driverside door and the original rear axle tag is still present. This car has not been on the road since 1988, the original family started it up occasionally. I have started it up and let it run once a month while it has been stored in my garage. Engine does not smoke, the drive train is sound, but will require a tune up. The trans has a drip, and will require the pan gasket to be replaced. The original owners had the car repainted many years ago and added a true dual exhaust. The car will require painting again . I was told when I purchased the car it had never been wrecked, and it sure does look straight and solid. The door jams, trunk, hood, decklid, floors, and frame rails under this car are amazing. The doors could use new hinges, and I can include them if you want. The doors have a little rust in the bottom corners that will require some attention.
