This is a very rare Pacer. There were only about 500 V8 Pacers made in 1978 and 1979. Our family has decided that it is time to sell our 1978 V8 Pacer. This was NOT an Illinois car. This car is from North Carolina. We have been slowly trying to restore the car over the years and have done a great deal of work to it. It basically needs a new paint job, door seals and passenger compartment carpeting. Everything else is in good condition. Here is the work we have done to the car. Rebuilt 304 V8. (10,000 miles on it.) Rebuilt transmission Rebuilt radiator New AC compressor and the AC works. Rebuilt carburetor New HEI distributor New Tires (< 100 miles on them.) Recent exhaust system New battery I put power windows and locks in this car from a 1979 Pacer. They work great! It also has vent windows on the doors. This car has the extremely rare stainless steel rear spoiler. (I have never seen another one) There are a few small rust holes in the doors and bottom of the passenger rear quarter. Hinges are straight.
