Up for action is my vintage 1971 Suzuki TS185. It has gone through an extensive rebuild, and I have tried to keep it as original as possible. While not in showroom condition, it is very nice. It runs and shifts well, and will be sure to turn heads wherever it goes. All chrome is original, as is the gas tank. Tank has been stripped & repainted, and there is no bondo or rust. Chrome has some pitting and patina, but is pretty decent for 42 years old. Frame has been stripped and epoxy painted. Engine has new gaskets & seals, except for case gaskets. Many parts were replaced with new, nos or good used parts to keep it original. All nuts & bolts were cleaned and polished or replaced. Carb has been rebuilt and new floats installed. Engine does sputter a little in 1st gear, it is running rich. Seat has been recovered. Front and rear brake shoes are new. Most of the cables have been replaced. Grips and footpegs are new. I cannot verify mileage, and I do not believe this si the original speedo. The trip reset knob is broken off. Headlight beam does not work. Tach was working but is not now. Horn works while bench testing, but does not work on the bike. Lt side oil tank cover has a chip broken off at the front of it. Front forks have some seepage due to some pitting on the tubes. It does not have a skid plate installed. There is no warranty. All in all, this bike looks great and runs well. I do not have a title for it, but I will provide a bill of sale. Bike is local pick up only from zip 60410. I will not crate, ship or assist with shipping. Cash on pick up, no paypal except for $100 deposit. This bike is being sold with a bill of sale only.
