Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a nice 1967 Porsche 912. The motor has been upgraded with a big bore kit and new carbs. The car runs great. She cruises at 70mph with ease. She is not a trailer queen or a show car. She is a driver. The paint work looks great. I keep her washed and waxed. I always use a waterless wash. I do not see door dings anywhere on the car. There are a couple paint chips from driving. There are filled with paint whenever I see them appear. The interior looks good. The front seats are out of a Jaguar and are leather. I had them dyed years ago and they are starting to show wear in the natural creases of the leather. The seats were originally tan. The dash, door panels, rear seats, and package tray were redone with a soft feeling vinyl. The grain pattern closely matched the front seats. The driver side sun visor is in good shape but I have not found a good quality passenger side, so it is not there. The windows roll up and down with ease. New weather strips were installed everywhere except for the rear wing windows. New floors were installed right after purchase. She is a pretty solid car. The smugglers box is in good condition, a common problem area. The car was painted when I bought it. I have had zero issues with rust popping up. There are no bubbles or soft spots on the body. The heater controls and heater boxes function properly. She can get hot in there! There are no speakers in the car. I like the sound of the car. The radio is only there to fill the dash. I have no idea if it would work. No power is hooked to it. I put new tires on her last year. They ride smooth and quiet. When I did the tires, I also installed braided stainless steel brake lines on the front and the rear. She has a nice pedal feel. I installed new bushings in the accelerator pedal assembly when I first bought her. I also put in new shifter bushings and coupler bushings. The things I never figured out or bothered me enough to fix are listed next. The clock does not work or the trip meter. The trip meter spins the first two positions together and when they reach 99, it turns over the next digit. The odometer works just fine. The fuel gauge works intermittently. I have tried to figure it out, to no avail. The right front parking light wire has a short. I have not found where the short is. The hazards do not work. All the turn signals work just fine. I have enjoyed this car but it is time to move on. I hope you get as much enjoyment from her as I have. My number is 816-377-3745 if you want to call and ask any questions. Ebay will not let me put a make offer with a true auction format. I am entertaining any offers you may have. Easy8customs@yahoo.com If I accept your offer, I will end the auction once the non-refundable deposit is received in my PayPal account. My car is for sale locally also. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for looking and good luck. The auction winner will need to make a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Buy is responsible for shipping, but I will help in any way I can. I can even store the vehicle for a while. Please contact me with any questions.
