Here up for auction we offer this very nice, rare 1987 Chevy Chevette CS, 2 door Hatchback. This little gem is a 2 owner car with most of it's 26 year's registered in Illinois, but located in vacation home half of the year in St. George Utah area. Very low original mileage of only 49,154 logged miles. This car is equipped with the following options, Peppy 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine, rare factory Air Conditioning, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering , Power Brakes, Delco AM/FM Radio, Rear Electric Defogger, Deluxe Wheel Chrome Trim Rings, Optional Custom Cloth Bucket Seats, Tinted Glass, Deluxe Body Side Molding & Trim. Car runs smooth & quiet with no leaks or smoke! Just drove in from Utah to Las Vegas and averaged 38 mpg. This car has no mechanical issues and drives as it should. The exterior paint is the original dark red with some touch ups, small scratches, small dings etc. Bumpers have been redone. Remember not perfect ... but a 26 year old classic. Came with the optional Mr. Goodwrench Anti-Rust Compound body treatment. This car has been in no accidents, and has no body filler etc. A very nice daily driver or an easy restoration for the car collector. Car comes with the original owners manual, sales brochure and service manual, original keys and key fob. Nice spare donut tire and tool kit. New trunk & carpeted floor mats. All items work and perform as they should with the exception that the Air Cond. it does not blow cold and may need service. All safety features work, all dash & interior and exterior lights, signals, cigarette lighter, horn. windshield wipers, spare tire, defroster etc. The car's interior is the optional red custom cloth interior and has no rips or tears, headliner like new! It does have a small hole in drivers side bucket seat. The rubber window guides may need replacing. The engine compartment is super clean and original. Overall this car is an easy 8 on the scale of 1 to 10 original and complete. No hidden issues .... we welcome you or your mechanics inspection.
