Just out of storage, (eight years) it's an original rust free California car that runs and drives well, but could use some freshening. The paint is dull and is even beginning to peel on the right rear fender. It appears to have had one respray in the original color and will need another soon. The chrome has minor pits with the worst being the rear bumper. (see photo) The drivers door handle does not work, and must be opened with the interior handle. Inside, the interior looks good. The upholstery and headliner are in great condition, but the carpet has faded a bit, and the dash pad has a few minor cracks. Gauges all seem to work, but the fan switch does not, and the 1980's era stereo needs a code (unknown) to operate. Mechanically it runs and drives well, but the rear end has a worn bearing growl. Sounds like it's coming from the differential, but it could possibly be a wheel bearing. Tires look virtually new. Purchased new in Stockton Ca, this unmodified original Mustang could be a great one with a little work. The charity will even cover the back DMV fees if purchsed by a California bidder.
