THIS 1986 CHEVY BLAZER IS BEING SOLD AS-IS!!
This 1986 Chevy K5 Blazer was just traded in to our dealership yesterday and is in great shape for its age and mileage. The previous owner bought it as a weekend toy, but traded it in on a new Transit Connect for his company. His Loss is your Gain!!! I’ve driven this Blazer myself and I can attest to how well this truck drives down the road. From the best of my knowlege, this truck does come with the 5.0L 305 Motor, not the 350. It does start up every time and runs strong. The Automatic Transmission shifts smooth without any banging or slipping. The 4X4 system works as it should in both 4-High and 4-Low. The Air Conditioner BLOWS COLD AIR!! Works great even in this 90+ degree weather!!
The Previous owner spent over $3,000 in Brand New Mickey Thompson Wheels and Tires!! The Tires are LT395/70/R16 and are only a few months old. He also upgraded the locking front hubs to Warn Mechanical Locking hubs. Again, they work as they should. The Truck also has a full Lift Kit on it (don’t know how much) and upgraded front sway bar. Also comes with an upgraded Audio Headunit. The Interior is in great condition and was a non-smoker truck, and is free from other unpleasant odors.
We have not put this Blazer though our shop, but there are a few issues that we want you to be aware of:
- All power windows, including the power sliding rear window work well. The passenger’s side window does go up very slowly, and sometime needs a little help to go back up.
- There are a few rust spots around the truck. Please see the pictures for close ups of the major spots that are currently visible. (There may be others, as rust is a very common issue on these trucks).
- There are some cracks/peeling paint on the rear cap.
- The driver’s door doesn’t shut fully all of the time. The door will probably need to be re-aligned. Not a major problem, but again, I just want you to be fully aware.
- There is some pitting/rust on the chrome of the front brush bar.
- The Rear Mufflers are cut off before the rear axle. Will need to be taken to an exhaust shop and extended out if you should choose.
Again, this is an AS-IS vehicle that is NOT being offered with any warranty.

Buyer's Inspection: We do our best to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. We welcome a Buyer's Inspection. Warranties: Unless stated otherwise, this vehicle is being sold "as is". Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. An extended warranty may also be available. Please contact us for details. Payments: A deposit of $1000 by Loan check, Cash (in person) (non-refundable), or Credit Card over the phone must be paid within 24 Hours of the close of the Auction. When the deposit has been submitted, "Buyer" MUST fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver's license. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 Days. If payment is made by cashiers or personal check, we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Taxes and Fees: "Buyer" is responsible not only for knowing their own states' laws regarding taxes and fees, but also remitting the proper taxes, fees, and documents for their state. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered. All buyers must pay $229 documentation fees, non-negotiable and $85 Title and Temporary Tag Fee.
Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. All buyers must pay $229 documentation fees, non-negotiable and $85 Title and Temporary Tag Fee.
Finalizing Your Purchase: Winner MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer", all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".
Shipping and Delivery: All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination.
