This auction is for a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This would make an excellant project car. The front driver side fender is rusted through one of the bottom corners, but I have a extra fender that is rust free to go in the sale. I also have an extra front fascia that is in great shape. From my inspection, no other panels would need replaced. The frame/underside of the car is clean and as you can see from the pics the trunk, rockers, etc. are clean. The car has a 383 stroker and turbo 350 transmission. The 383 runs strong but there is a knock in the motor. It sounds like a rod cap bolt may have came loose (not for sure though). The car had factory air, but has since been removed. Has power steering, brakes, doors and locks. This is a project car and would need standard restoration work completed. Other features include: -10 bolt limited slip rear end, 383 stroker motor, turbo 350 transmission, shaker hood, extra drivers side fender, extra front clip, frame is clean all around, trunk is rust free and clean, floors are solid, rockers are solid, glass is all good, power steering, power brakes, power doors/locks, dash is clean and all there, Factory A/C that has been cut at the fire wall.
