1962/1963 Triumph Spitfire Listed for sale by Coventry Garage LLC is a 1962/1963 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE Convertible with its original 4 cylinder engine and original 4 speed manual transmission THAT IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. This is a rare first year car that has been slightly modified with newer seats and bonnet. The “BUY IT NOW” price is $8000.00. The car has too much to list so I'll try to make it brief. Almost everything on the car has been rebuilt or replaced. VIN # FC 773L which is a 1962 manufactured car that was titled in 1963 in the USA. Frame off, new floors, sills, and quarters. The frame was blasted, cleaned and painted with many coats of protective paint before the body was re-installed. The floors and sills have all been replaced so they are PERFECT on this car- NO RUST ANYWHERE. The paint is a base coat/clear coat silver with blacked out chrome bumpers and headlight surrounds. The car is looks stunning. The engine was rebuilt and all gaskets in the engine where replaced at the beginning of this project which started in 2003. Cylinder head was done last year with new valves and guides. Has new header and exhaust system from Pace. This car runs great! All new tires and “Minataur” brand UK made wheels; Diff. was rebuilt last year, new convertible top two years ago, new carpet and interior. Seats are late seventy's with BRAND new black vinyl with white piping and new foam. Brand new rear transverse leaf spring just installed. New alloy valve cover and gasket. New steering wheel; also installed a positive ground to negative ground unit and installed a mp3 sd card playback into speaker boxes behind the seats; the old am radio is still in the car with new speakers in glove box. This car is a positive ground car. The twin SU carbs where sent out and were rebuilt and polished. I have a stack of receipts that you can have with the car. The hood that is on the car is off a 1970 Spitfire and the front turn signals were modified to give it that 62/63 look. I have a quart of the paint that was used on this car and I will include it with the car. Pretty much rebuilt from ground up within the last 10 years.
