This neat looking bike is still in its old paint and is also because of all the nice and correct details just a pleasure to look at!The paint is showing surface rust on places, but for sure all the metal is still in a very solid condition and has no holes rusted through. The engine is turning smoothly without making any strange noises, has good compression and the magneto still provides a strong spark. I haven't attempted to start it, as to my idea it will be better to inspect everything on forehand as it hasn't been running anymore for a VERY LONG period of time.The engine looks very nice on the outside and doesn't show any cracks or damage.Like common in those days, bike manufactures acquired their engines from other suppliers where this machine has a 175cc "Moussard" ML model engine fitted. The previous owner told me that he bought it back then as a military despatch model, for reason that it has the headlamp fitted and like typical for French despatch-bikes of that era, has no gearbox (thus could instantly being ridden after being pushed and was easy to handle/control). With the bike are two unused and hard to find "NEW MAP" tank decalls, as well as a unused rear fender and -headstock decall (all in mint condition and easy to put on). I have attached a number of typical old military despatch-bike images, only these photo's have as far as I know nothing to do with the bike as listed. -On this listing I'm offering a special (fully sealed) m'cycle crate, careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US State warehouse of the shipping-company as close as possible to you at my expense.
