VERY GOOD CONDITION 1979 FORMULA FIREBIRD. THE CLASSIC "WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING" ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CAR. OBVIOUSLY GARAGE KEPT AS IT IS ALL ORIGINAL...BONE STOCK. PAINT IS IN INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL CONDITION. ALL DECALS AND EMBLEMS ARE IN TACT. THIS IS A REALLY GREAT EXAMPLE THAT I HAVE OWNED FOR 10 YEARS. JUST DROVE IT IN MY 4TH OF JULY PARADE ON SUNDAY. RUNS PERFECT AND QUIET. ZERO LEAKS. RUNS COOL NEVER OVER THE MID POINT ON THE TEMP GAUGE. ORIGINAL DOCUMENTED MILES. AND A SCREAM TO DRIVE. THE CAR LITERALLY "FLOATS" DOWN THE ROAD. STOMP ON THE GAS AND IT RAISES UP ABOUT 3 INCHES AS IT DIGS IN AND TRACKS STRAIGHT AWAY. TRANNY IS PERFECT...TIGHT AS NEW. I HAVE KEPT THIS CAR INDOORS IN A HEATED BUILDING FOR THE 10 YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT. THE ENGINE BAY IS CLEAN AND THE CAR IS RUST-FREE FROM HEAD TO TOE. RECENT NEW DUAL EXHAUST. EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE A/C NEEDS A CHARGE. I WILL PROBABLY CHARGE IT BEFORE IT SELLS. THE ORIGINAL TINTED GLASS T-TOPS ARE IN PERFECT SHAPE AND THE HAVE THE VELOUR LINED COVERS THAT ARE IN TACT IN THE TRUNK. THE RED CARPET INTERIOR IS LIKE NEW. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A REAL TIME PIECE. NO SURPRISES OR DISSAPPOINTMENTS. JUST A VERY COOL OLD-SCHOOL RIDE THAT HAS BEEN BABIED ITS WHOLE LIFE. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER (CALIFORNIA MIDDLE AGED WOMAN). Of note, a new fuel tank was installed in the car in 2008. At around the same time a new master cylinder for the brakes. In addition, I have the original manuals that came with the car in mint original condition.On Jul-05-13 at 09:47:58 PDT, seller added the following information:I uploaded 5 additional photos of the Bird. One shows the T-Tops on the car. They are in excellent condition, no cracks. I also noted some cosmetic blemishes when I was washing the car after the 4th of July Parade. The are minor but in terms of full disclosure I wanted them to be noted. A small scrape above passenger wheel well that was touched up years ago. Same on the passenger rear behind rear wheel. On the very nose of the car the gray paint has worn away, about a 3/8 inch circle. Then inside the drivers door the vinyl trim has cracked where the door closes. If any of the current bidders are turned off by these blemishes you may retract any bids submitted. They do not affect the overall appeal of this time machine.
