Vehicle Detail
This is my 3rd Alfa and offered here is one of kind, amazing example of the Alfa Spider. The running gear of this car is stock (except the exhaust has a straight pipe for an amazing sound) with well over $15K invested in this car with upgrades (VERY RARE HARD TOP with custom paint, Roll-Bar, Red-Racing harness, Real custom Alfa rims, Amazing sound system with custom speaker box/sub-woofer, custom interior, car cover, new soft top…….list goes on). I am the 3rd owner and have had the car less than 3-months. The only reason I am selling this Alfa is because of IRS debt – it is open to any inspection anytime. This great investment opportunity is in fantastic condition and with all the rare options, it is a one-off chance to own it. It really does pain me to sell it. It has less than 33, 500 miles on the original engine. The Alfa has been garaged all its life and very well maintained. This Alfa has never seen the rain, no rust anywhere on this car. Very straight and mostly unblemished body that sports the original Rosso cherry paint. The running gear/drivetrain is unmodified and in exceptional condition, as is the suspension and braking system. The gear box is perfect (2nd gear does not crunch). The underbody, trunk and rockers are all very solid and noticeably rust free. Interior is in excellent condition - Dash has no cracks with red leather inserts in center console & gear shift boot/knob. Door panels, seats, carpets, trunk carpeting, and convertible top (inside and out) are in like new condition. All gauges function as they should. Both front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition (although the point of the front bumber has a pen paint touch up (its very small), along with window and top trim rubber. Not only is the cloth top in excellent condition, but it opens and closes smoothly. Air conditioning blows, but not very cold and fog lamps are in perfect working order. The radio antenna works well and the Alfa has a high-end pioneer stereo with sub-woofer and customer speaker box behind the seats. Like new-compression and all gears shift perfectly, car does not over heat even in Baton Rouge heat. I changed the oil (synthetic) a few weeks ago. The car runs and drives fantastic. The custom rims and tires are new (no curb rash), with a full spare in the trunk. All the original Alfa Manuals are in the car along with the glove box hand held interior light. Overall a well taken care of car that can be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level without extensive overhaul. The bad – this is not a new car so it does have some blemishes. The windshield does have a crack on the drivers side-top and will need to be replaced eventually. The air bag sensor comes on and off – it has never been in an accident; the sensor is just faulty. The rubbers on the hard-top will need to be replaced straight away. The paint was A1 condtion. When I purchased the car from New York, the previous owner taped the base of the hard-top so water would not get in. This has caused some paint to lift near the driver side door pillar (small patch, half the size of a mans hand). It is too hard to photograph and I tried to get it professional scuffed out, but it is still notice with the naked eye.Just spent $1K plus on new clutch. I can answer any questions and send many more photos if desired. This is an investment grade Alfa! I WILL CONSIDER ALL REASONABLE OFFERS. Thank you for looking!
