I have owned this vehicle for about 10 years and it has barely been driven during my ownership. The body is straight - I had rust removed from the rear wheel lip on one side several years ago, and now the other side needs to be fixed. The car needs paint and there are areas on the body where the paint and primer are gone and surface rust has formed. The black interior appears to be original and is in very good condition except for the dash pad which needs replacing. and it has the rare bench seat option in the front. Tires are fair. The car starts and runs but can hear lifter noise - probably from sitting for so long. Air conditioning unit seems to be complete and original to the car but has never worked since I have owned the car and I will not repair.There does not seem to be any motor, transmission, or power steering leaks. I do not believe there are any rust problems underneath the car. Since I have hardly driven the car, I would not take off cross country in it, but it might do just fine, I just wouldn't do it. I think it needs to be towed to its new home. I had a mustang parts and car sales business in El Paso for a number of years and brought this car, along with some others, to Oklahoma when I moved here. I have two 66 mustang coupes, and a 63 Studebaker GT Hawk that I will be soon listing on ebay motors.. I currently own 10 cars, my daughters are not interested in these cars, and I am over 70 and need to start clearing out some of these vehicles I have a reserve on this car but really would like to sell. I don't really want a trade but would consider an older car in trade if the price is right. The car is for sale locally, so is subject to prior sale. If it sells locally, I will cancel this offering. Transportation is the Buyer's responsibility. I will accept payment by paypal or wire transfer to my bank or cash. I will require $500 down payment within 72 hours. Balance to be paid prior to picking up the car. If you come in person to look at the car and you are not satisfied with the car, I will refund your deposit. If you have not looked at the car and are not satisfied with the car upon your receipt of the vehicle, you will be given 7 days to return the vehicle in its present condition and I will refund all your money except for the $500 deposit.
