This example showcases its correct & difficult to find Florentine Green finish that is more of a bright yellow hue. This is a car ready to cruise and enjoy. The engine was recently rebuilt along with the power top system ( pump, gears, etc) & top replaced. You can reach Robert direct at 214-364-5671 with any questions. The exterior finish is in very good condition throughout with only minor imperfection touch-ups. The body is straight and clean. The bright work is original throughout and in good condition as well. Mechanically, little changed from the 1963-4 model years. Power is courtesy of this recently overhauled 390 cubic inch V8 rated at 300 horsepower. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed, showcasing excellent inner fender, core support, and firewall sheet metal. The engine runs very strong. During the rebuild, brass freeze plugs were installed along with the standard bearings, rings, and seals. This engine is paired with the Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission and 3.00 gear rear end. This is a highway cruiser with plenty of power. Braking duties are taken care of by power front disc brakes. The undercarriage is the best you will find on a vintage Thunderbird. The flooring is original and excellent throughout as is the undercoat. This is a long-time garage kept Thunderbird and it shows. Open the doors to 1964. The interior features standard Thunderbird black vinyl seating along with the trademark swing-out steering wheel, factory AM/FM stereo, and working original gauges. The black vinyl shows well. There is some seam separation on the driver's seat. The passenger and rear seats are in excellent condition as are the visors. The door panels are clean and detailed, in good condition left and right. The door undersides are excellent. This is a dry climate Thunderbird and it shows, especially the undercarriage. You won't find a cleaner original underbody. The trunk area is in excellent condition, complete with spare tire/wheel. The fender skirts and original wheel covers are in excellent condition. The convertible top has just been replaced along with the convertible top pump and major gears.
