Hi - this auction is for a nearly new 1986 Honda VFR 750 with a mechanical warranty and a clean title. Most people mistake it for a new bike because it's so clean and in such great condition. At age 64, I have decided to reluctantly sell two of my collection of fine motorcycles (the other listed on EBay is a perfect 1987 Honda 700 Magna). This bike is red/white/blue in color, with the original white wheels, and is all original. There are no rips in the original seat, no dents in the original exhaust, no chips or scratches in the original glossy paint, and no cracks or tabs missing in the plastic panels. The only paint imperfection, which no one can see unless I point it out, is a small 1/2" depression (not dent) in the right side front of the top blue portion of the gas tank, which I have tried to show in one of the pictures where my finger is at (you won't be able to see it though - it's that insignificant but, being a 100% EBayer, I need to disclose every flaw). There is another "hidden" cosmetic imperfection, namely a relatively small amount of battery splash from the previous owner on the rear aluminum swingarm, which is hidden by the exhaust, so no one ever sees it. It certainly could be polished out if you wanted to take the exhaust off - I did not because it's not very noticeable. Mechanically, the bike is perfect. The carbs have been cleaned and synched, and the bike has been tuned to perfection by my mechanic of 25 years. As I said, people mistake this 29 year old bike for new because it looks that good and runs perfectly. There are no leaks, the oil I've used in all my cars and bikes has always been Amsoil full synthetic and it was recently changed, as was the coolant (Blue Ice) and the chain was recently lubed. It's turn key and ready for 100K + miles, which is the reputation that these bikes have for longevity and reliability. This bike is virtually show quality and comes with a.mechanical warranty (how often do you see that on EBay?), as do all my EBay cars and bikes that I sell: namely, if any engine or transmission parts fail in the first 30 days or 500 miles, whichever comes first, I will pay for 50% of the repairs at a Honda dealer. The exception will be if this fine bike is abused by the new owner; I don't abuse it and I would hope that the new owner would not do so either. I stand behind all my vehicles that I own and sell, so please check my 100% EBay rating in selling many cars and motorcycles, and bid with the utmost confidence.
