The particulars on this beautiful F150 Ranger "survivor" pickup are as follows: * On 2/27/78, Al & Alma Vukich drove from their home in Pueblo to Garnsey & Wheeler FORD in Greeley, Colorado to take delivery of their new F150 Ranger pickup truck. This truck was ordered by Al, the previous fall. (Al is known to me & a personal friend, he turned 85 yesterday!) * He ordered the truck with a 351 Cleveland V8, 2bbl carb, automatic transmission w/transmission cooler, power steering & power brakes, AM radio, cloth bench seat and a Ford rubber floor mat. * Upon picking the truck up, it was taken to Custom Cover Topper's, of Denver. They provided the custom camper shell you see on the F150. The shell was color paint coordinated to match the truck. They chose an easy access entry "dwarf" door with two interior screened side windows for ventilation. The door has a sliding window, too. They elected to have the interior of the camper shell finished with wood paneling. (it still smells new) * Al & Alma have been the only owners, the truck is still on its 1978 Colorado title! * A garaged and pampered, non-smoker owned truck, it has never left Colorado, or been subjected to winter driving conditions or corrosives. * ONLY 49,035 actual miles! * Guaranteed to be ZERO RUST! * NEVER in any accidents, 100% original paint from bumper to bumper * A true original "survivor", the only equipment not original to the truck are items that by virtue of age or wear necessitated replacement. * The truck is in remarkable condition, inside and out. It looks, runs and drives great! I personally hand polished (not waxed) the entire truck last weekend. The paint luster and finish are excellent. (see picture reflections) * The shell is immaculate, there are NO leaks. The bed will easily accomodate 2 folding cots or sleeping bags on foam pads and your gear. The screens are not torn. The rear door locks from both inside and out. * 351C V8, starts, idles and runs ever so smoothly, there are NO annoying drips or leaks anywhere. * 3-speed automatic transmission, shifts smoothly through all gear changes as well as into reverse with no clunks or protests. * Recent inspection and servicing consisting of new belts, hoses, filters, brake service and fresh fluids. * The original spare is beneath the bed, it has never been on the ground. * Original jack, tire tool, keys, etc * All original glass, NO cracks or chips, windows roll smoothly * Perfect dash, NO cracks or warping, * Perfect headliner * Perfect door panels, window gaskets and brushes * Excellent upholstery * Dash Topper carpeted cover * All gaskets are soft and pliable * All equipment & safety features are fully operational * NO steering wheel cracks * Trailer hitch, installed, never towed. Ideal to pull a flats boat, motorcycle trailer (Sturgis is upcoming) etc. * The under carriage picture is representative of just how clean the truck is underneath.
