2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 NO RESERVE This truck has been used on and off road, in the oil and gas industry, since new. The engine sounds real good with plenty of power, the transmission shifts through all gears but seems to stay in first longer than I like, sometimes you have to let off the throttle to get it to shift. The 4x4 feels good except you can hear a ujoint clicking when moving, we had a rebuilt transmission installed last year by a reputable shop The front end feels good in town and cruses well on the highway, the tires are good and the brakes feel good. The service brake light is on and so is the ABS light, the check engine light is also on. The speedometer does not work and I am unsure of the correct mileage of the truck, I am not sure how long the odometer has not worked. The clear plastic that covers the gauge cluster is broke and the passenger’s seat has cracks in the vinyl. There are small dents on the truck that did not show in the pictures, there is a crease and some paint chips on the passengers rear door. The running light on the front drivers side is held in by wire, there is a piece of trim missing below the headlight and it looks to be what holds the running light in place. I don’t see any leaks or drips on the pavement. The battery is new and the charging system checks out ok but if you let it sit for a few days the battery will go dead. All the lights work inside and out.this is a base truck, no power windows or cruise, the air works good and so does the heat. This truck is sold as is with no warrantees and the buyer resumes all responsibilities and maintenance after purchase.
