1968 AMC Ambassador SST. Car is in prettty good shape. Motor does run, but smokes due to needing a valve job to remove the leaded gas seats in heads. Fuel tank might need boiled out or replaced. Interior is 9/10 due to 1 eight inch rip in center of drivers seat, and 3, two inch tears along your back rest of drivers seat. All else is exellent. Headliner, "SUPERB!!!!!". This is a great parts car, or rebuilders classic. Vehicle has Bendix disc brakes in front and drums rear, a/c (not cold, but pump is not seized) does engage when switched on, tilt wheel, all the SST badging, original hub caps, 343 high comp 4brl carb, and 3sp shift command trans. Spare rim in the trunk still has original Goodyear Polyglass tire in phenominal shape. Vehicle has minor surface rust as you can see in the pictures provided, but if need be, I have over 150 extra pictures avaliable at you request. Quarter panels and front fenders along with inter fenders and frame have no rust the I can see what so ever. Factory undercoating is in great shape. Vehicle has been a Central/Southern Cali car all its life that I know of, with the previous owner stating that the 6x,xxx miles on the vehicle were correct, (hence needing unleaded valve seats).
