You are bidding on one 1996 Triumph Adventurer 900 triple, which has been sitting in a garage, unridden, for about seven years now. I am selling this bike for a friend, who has decided not to put any money into getting it back on the road. The bike needs a lot of TLC to get it back into good running order, but it has never been dropped, and only shows 9878 miles on the odometer! I looked into the carburetors, and they were not terrible, but definitely need to be overhauled. The gas tank smells awful, and although it has been "Kreemed" once, it will need a thorough cleaning again- it's funky! All the electrical works; starter, horn, turn signals, brakes- it's all there. The engine cranks over very well, but obviously it will not start in its present state. Overall, the bike is in pretty decent physical shape, and although it has some spotting to the chrome, it should clean up quite nicely. The paint is in very good shape, and the rubber parts are not bad either. This is an excellent project bike for any good mechanic who wants something cheap to restore, modify, or customize.
