Vehicle Detail

1959 Chevy 4X4 fleetside truck. Loved by all ages with thumbs up everywhere you go! This truck is NOT a perfect truck but is a great driver and great for weekend car shows! BRAND NEW 35" Tires. It has AC but there is no belt. Not sure what it will need. The compressor seems to be free. Radio/CD player. Lots of Chrome. Lokar Shifter. Grant steering wheel The in-dash gage cluster is not working but it looks to be in great shape. Engine starts right up and runs strong. No smoke. Was told a lot of $ were spent on the engine rebuild buy a race engine builder with very little miles. Sounds GREAT! The 4x4 Chassis with high and low rage and locking hubs is from a later model Chevy ½ ton truck. This truck is currently in located and can be inspected in Southern California. I strongly suggest you come and see the trunk or have an inspector come and inspect it because this truck is being sold as-is where is! It has a clean/clear Arizona reconst Title. I do not know the miles. I was told the truck was in Arizona most of its life. I’m not an expert but I don’t see any rust and t doesn’t look like there has been any rust repair. Please email me with any questions. I will email more photos if you need them. On Jun-08-13 at 09:40:03 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a SHORTBED Truck!!The bed wood is good just needs sanding and a coat of clear.Their is a crack in the rear glass. I will include new rear glass and seal with the sale. This Truck is being advertised locally. I reserve the right to sell it prior to the auction ending; unless the reserve price has been met. On Jun-08-13 at 10:03:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The Truck has a RECEIVER HITCH. The rear bumper has a spot of chrome missing about the 2”X3” I will either supply a new Rear bumper, or credit the buyer $150.00 to replace the bumber with the sale. On Jun-08-13 at 14:54:03 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some questions that have been asked: I purchased the truck as it is and I don’t know when it was built or painted. The paint and body are in really nice condition, very smooth with a great shine. A couple of the photos make it look wavy, but if you look close you will see that it’s a reflection in the shiny paint of the cabinets in the garage and a car parked close by. You may want to touch up the paint spot on the hood shown in the photo, but the truck is high enough off of the ground that it’s not that noticeable. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions and if you need any additional photos. On Jun-09-13 at 10:05:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Several have asked if it’s a 4 speed manual, or an automatic transmission. This truck is an automatic with a Lokar floor shifter. Once again… If you are looking for a rotisserie restored truck, this is not it. Just a very nice, rare and FUN 1959 truck.
