Classic 1973 Volkswagen Beetle. Donated to a local charity, this is an original California blue plate car. Runs and drives well, but could use a bit of TLC. The body looks good from a distance with a cheap re-paint (in the original color) done many years ago. Up close you'll notice various blemishes in the paint including chips, scratches, dings, and areas that were not prepped well. The chrome is pitted, and there is also some minor surface rust. Fortunately, the pan appears to be rust free. Inside, the floors are solid and the dash has a few minor cracks, but the front seat springs are collapsing and the previous owners solution was to add more foam and cover them. (see photo) The back seat is covered with scrap fabric, but seems to be in better condition. Door panels look good. Mechanically it runs and drives very well, but will sometimes stall at idle. Tires look virtually new. This nice old Bug (like everyone once had) needs a bit of work, but could be yours for a song. No Reserve!
