Vehicle Detail
This car was donated to the local "Boys & Girls Club" and I am selling it for the them. All the monies received (100%) for this car will go directly to the "Boys and Girls Club of Hendersonville, NC. The gentleman who donated this car purchased it brand new a the BMW store and has been its only owner. He used it as a daily driver until a couple of years ago, and it was always kept in his garage. The car has been serviced regular and we have some (scattered) service records and was service by local non-BMW-dealers but reputable service centers. The car has no rust that I can see and the body is strong, the car run and drives as it should, but needs a lot of little things repaired. A list of some but not all needed repairs: The Air Cond. switch does not work, so no fan blowing, It does have rear air cond. that does seen to work. The drivers window does not drop down when the door opens. The dash has severe cracks and tears, see photos The radio antenna does not go up. The tires need to be replaced. The exaust system rattles, not a leak or loud noise, but tinny rattling sound, may need replacing of the exaust system. Some of the interior trim pieces are missing at bottom of seats on both sides, maybe other trim pieces missing. The keys are aftermarket keys, but they work fine, not the original BWW keys Now for the good stuff. The engine runs fine, the clutch feels fine, the 5 speed trans. works fine, so the running gear seems to be in good order. The battery in new within the last year and it is a big battery. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being almost perfect, I would rate this car between 5 and 6. It has good bones, but needs a lot cosmetic and some mechanical work, however it is very driveable now.On Jun-04-13 at 14:15:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The leather seats are very dry and cracked. On Jun-07-13 at 13:11:08 PDT, seller added the following information: A few pictures of the engine and labels.
