1972 HONDA MINITRAIL CT70 CT 70 MINI TRAIL K1 LOW MILES NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!! NOTE To International Bidders: Please Contact Me Before Bidding. I reserve the right to cancel your bid if you do not contact me before bidding. This Minitrail 70 has been in my collection for over 12 years. It is in the same condition as when I purchased it. Paint is all original. There are a few chips & scratches. The most noticeable ones are on the right side front fork cover and on the swingarm, also on the right side. The seat cover is original. It has a repair on the front end (see photo) but otherwise it is in good condition for it's age. The seat pan looks like new. The tires were replaced a few years ago and are in new condition The battery was just replaced. The tailight assembly is from the earlier "KO" version. (It uses the same mounting holes so no modification to the bike.) The original tailight is also included. All lights and the horn work as they should. Original Owner's manual and tool kit are also included. Bike has a California Title and is in Non-Op status so there are no past due fees. Motor starts and runs well. A bike cover is also included. When I purchased this mini-trail, I was told that the seller had purchased it from the estate of the original owner. Overall, this is a very nice original Minitrail 70 that still looks like new. **ATTENTION CT 70 COLLECTORS:The build date on the frame tag is August 1971 which makes this an early "K1" Model. (Recently there was an Ebay listing for a nice original "K0" Model that also had an August 1971 build date . So I assume August was when they switched over from the "K0" to the "K1") The frame number matches the tag and is CT702002976. The engine serial number is CT70E203119. Since CT70 serial numbers rarely matched exactly, The sequence for the frame (2976) is close enough to the engine (3119) but the engine serial number is missing one zero which gives it a number that appears to be from a 1971 "K0". I have looked this bike over very carefully and can find no evidence that the motor was ever removed or replaced. Is it possible that the motor serial number was stamped incorrectly since they had just finished building the "K0" models? Please Use Paypal for Deposit and Cashiers Check or Cash for Final Payment.
