For sale is a classic street legal 1977 Suzuki TS185. This bike currently has a valid Vermont registration which is fully transferable. Does not have a title, Vermont does not issue titles for bikes of this age. The registration alone makes it 100% legal and it is fully transferable via Vermont DMV or through your local DMV. My buddys older brother had an identical bike back in 1977, I loved it then, love it now. Unfortunately, I have too many projects and not enough time, this one has to go. The bike is about 90% complete, needs some minor work to make it 100%. It's mostly original, tires have great tread, seat is mint, headlight works, speedo and tach work. So far I installed new throttle cables, gas petcock, Boyesen reeds and Wiseco piston & rings, side cover (its blue) and exhaust expansion chamber. I know it needs fork boots/dust covers, new battery (old one is dead), turn signal and brake bulbs (they dont work), air filter and possibly tach cable. On Saturday 5/18 I warmed it up then took it for a quick spin up and down my block. Powerband kicks in perfect, shifts through gears perfect, rides straight and brakes work perfect. This gem is almost 100% highway ready, just square away the little stuff and you have a classic you can legally ride to bike night or to a vintage meetup.
