This is a near-perfect museum grade 1980 GL1100 Interstate in excellent condition with only 1480 (yes, one thousand four hundred and eighty) miles. This was the first model year for the Interstate. This bike was stored for over 20 years garaged and covered. The following service has been performed in the past 200 miles/4 months: Fuel tank cleaned, new gas cap, fuel lines and filters replaced, carburetors completely disassembled, Chem-Tool and ultrasonically cleaned and serviced, cooling system flushed and refilled, engine oil and filter, brake master cylinders overhauled with Honda OEM kits, brake calipers serviced, compression check - all cylinders at 160 psi +/- 5 psi, new battery N18L-A, timing belts (2) Gates T-274, valve adjustment, final drive fluid change, new tires - Bridgestone Spitfires S11, new Honda OEM fork seals and fork oil, rear hub and final drive spline lube, carburetor sync, spark plugs and plug wires replaced. All lights, electrics and gauges work normally. Windshield is in excellent condition. The original fairing mounted mirrors were replaced with period correct handlebar mounted mirrors due to my preference - original mirrors will go with the bike. There are some very minor scratches on the side case lids that might buff out (see photos). Original owners manuals, keys, cover, tool kit, air suspension gauge and even the unused cleaning cloth Honda provided with new bikes. The seat is in excellent condition with no signs of wear at all. There is no rust whatsoever on the bike - I doubt it was ever ridden in the rain or spent a night outside! It literally looks like it just rolled out of the showroom!
