For sale is a vintage 1982 Honda CB750F Super Sport with 45,693 miles. The bike was restored by the previous owner who said he invested over $6k, though I have no data to verify exactly what was accomplished. I rode the bike all last year, but had an issue with the choke where it wouldn’t close all the way. I bought a used set of cabs and rebuilt them, but now it doesn’t seem to run very well. This aside, everything else works great. I think someone with some experience with quad cabs could quickly whip this back into shape. Features: - Bike is 99% original, with paint color and exhaust not orig. - Average miles. - The paint is new, bright, and shinny. - Gauges, switches, horn, lights, starter, and starter switch all work. - Tires are in perfect shape, no weather checking. - Seat upholstery in excellent condition. - Gas tank has some very minor surface rust in some spots, but otherwise very clean. - New battery last year. - Brand new air filters. - Brakes are good. - New clutch cable - Transmission works perfect. - Aftermarket exhaust. I have the originals and they are included, but the small cross pipe is rusted through. - Clear Title. Known issues: - The clutch-lever starter interlock is cracked, which Is the only known electrical issue. - Right muffler has normal wear scratches. - Will require some carburetor work. - Missing original tool kit - Remember the bike is over 40 years and needs a little TLC, but otherwise very clean & fast.
