Vehicle Detail
I am listing this Ford Truck for a customer / friend. Jose has owned and driven this truck for a few years (about 10 or so). He is now looking to build another project and needs some funds, so this truck must go. He had the truck painted years ago by a local body shop in a bright red color that really pops. The paint is showing signs of age but is still a good looking truck. There are some chips on the paint and some touch ups that have been done. This is not a show truck, it’s a nice driver. When the truck was painted some 9 years ago the owner also installed all new glass and seals. The truck has front and rear roll pans installed when it was painted. Recently the truck had factory front and rear bumpers installed keeping the roll pans behind them. The 2 bumpers are brand new. The wood bed was replaced at one time; however it is not in the best of conditions. The wood has already begun to split and would need replacing. The wheels were recently color matched to the truck and wrapped with new BF Goodrich white wall tires from Coker in 6.40-15 fronts and 8.20-15 rear. The truck has a very good curb appeal. It gets a lot of looks and thumbs up. The suspension, brakes, steering and drivetrain have also been upgraded. A new mustang II kit was purchased from Speedway motors and installed replacing the original I-beam suspension. So now the truck features independent front suspension. It has dropped spindles and lowered springs. The rear suspension has been lowered to match the front, and new shocks fitted for the new height. Front disc brakes now stop the truck with the power master cylinder mounted on the firewall. The rear drum brakes are off a Camaro, which also replaced the rear end. A power rack and pinion steering replaced the original steering box. For drivetrain the truck features a 350 small block Chevy with a healthy cam. It has been recently upgraded with new block hugger headers. A T400 transmission and a Camaro rear end. Inside the truck has a color matched dash with new gauges. The temp gauge for some reason gets stuck at 250 when the truck is started, and sometimes it works perfectly, however the truck does not run hot. A steering column off a later model GM has been fitted with a new Moon red metal flake steering wheel. The turn signals are all there, however they are not working at the moment. The bench seat was upholstered in black and red and is in good condition. A black headliner and black carpet tie things together. The door panels match the bench seat nicely too. The best part about the interior would have to be the ice cold a/c that is under the dash. If you have any further questions or would like any other pictures please feel free to e-mail me at: Kustom51@comcast.net Thank you!Truck is Sold As Is, No Warranty written, expressed or implied. No Returns or Refunds! please note, this truck went through ebay, the highest bidder won the truck and did not pay for the truck! this is why we are re-listing it.
